What's involved in being a skateboarding coach at summer camp?

Ollies, manuals, and kickflips, all summer long. If you love to skate, you'll love this role - you'll spend all summer out in the skate park, working on new tricks and helping your campers develop their skills. You'll teach hour-long sessions to groups of campers - some of whom will be total beginners, and others will be experienced skaters.

Kickstart, or kickflip, into your summer of a lifetime.
While qualifications are valuable to include in your application, we believe in getting a role based on your passions.

Why should I teach skateboarding at summer camp?

Remember when you started in the skateboarding park, you found something you liked and were encouraged to take it further. This is what you can help the campers do too, help them love skateboarding like you do. Plus you can practice your own skills and you’ll be skateboarding all summer- you won’t get better than that. The kids won’t have the highest level of skill so you’ll need to be encouraging and hopefully they can learn a few skills from you over the summer.
