FAQs

Why do I need to do a Prep Day?

A prep day is a requirement set by the US department of State for you to land your J1 cultural exchange visa. This is to ensure you're correctly up to speed with everything related to going and working in the States to ensure your transition is as easy as possible.

Where is the Prep Day held?

Our Prep Days are held online. This is for many reasons, with the main being it's more accessible. If we held it in Buenos Aires, or Rio de Janeiro, for example, everyone would have more expenses to travel there, which is also difficult with work or education. Here, you can save money and do it in your slippers!

What's included in the Prep Day?

The Prep Day covers all the key information you need to seamlessly fit into summer camp. This includes covering what you need to take, through to key info you'll need when in the States. It'll also give you a great idea of what to expect as standard at camp, so it's a super important day.
