FAQs
Campers will come down to the session in age group divisions. There will be at least 1 counselor for every 6-10 campers, so you can expect groups of between 10-30 people. The counselors will help their own groups with their cooking projects, so you'll just have to oversee everyone and help out as needed.
Any experience with cooking, baking, or otherwise making delicious food will be a bonus to your application. It's a good idea to take some simple cooking or food safety courses either online or in a class - but if you just like to cook in your own kitchen, that's fine too! Experience working with kids is also a bonus at camp.
When starting your application you'll be asked to select your top skills. Choose cooking. Go into detail about what you will bring to the role, your skill level and mention any qualifications you have. A camp director will then be able to assess if you're a good fit and invite you to their camp.
