FAQs
When starting your application you’ll be asked to select your top skills. Choose basketball. Go into detail about what you’re going to bring to the role, your skill level and if you’re already qualified. A camp director will then be able to assess if you’re a good fit and invite you to their camp.
It’s all about your coaching experience. The more experience and coaching hours you can gather before camp the better. If this is your dream job and you want to support the application you can contact your local basketball teams for ideas and lessons.
Summer camps will provide equipment for your lessons, so no need to pack a hoop or a bag of basketballs! You’ll be expected to wear the appropriate clothing and footwear. Pack sunglasses, hat, plenty of spare socks, basketball shoes and some cool jerseys of your fave team to switch with campers and staff.
