FAQs
Summer camp runs over 9 fun-filled weeks, with some offering extended contracts should those camps offer 'post-camp'. You've also then get 30 days to travel after camp as part of your J1 visa, but it's up to you how long you wish to travel for.
Yes, your accommodation and meals are included! Your accommodation is provided on camp grounds, where you'll share with other camp staff, whereas your breakfast, lunch and dinners are included (although your trips to Walmart for candy, ice cream and slushies are on you!)
No! Summer camp is for everyone, and both students and non-students go in their thousands every year. Plus, there's no age limit, so as long as you're over 18 years old and have a clean criminal record, we think you'd be great for camp.
Absolutely! All of our applicants will earn at least $2000 after tax, meaning that'll be the minimum you'll get in your pocket after any state or federal taxes. Plus, certain roles earn even more, meaning you'll be well set up from your time in America.
Yes! As part of your J1 visa, you get 30 days after camp to explore America. This means after your camp contract ends, you're allowed to use those few weeks after to go wherever you wish, although you don't have to use those days if you need to go home.
