Terms & Conditions
- The promoter is Smaller Earth Limited (company no. 03859099), whose registered office is at 17 Mann Island, Liverpool, England, L3 1BP.
- The competition is open to any Camp Leaders or American Camp Co. participants attending the program in the 2025 season, excluding employees of Smaller Earth (and their associated brands), national team members, contractors associated with Smaller Earth, their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation.
- No entry fee or purchase is necessary to enter this competition.
- By entering this competition, entrants indicate their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via Camp Leaders’ official Instagram account (@campleadersofficial) or TikTok account (@campleaders). The exact competition post will be available here: ___________________. Meta/Instagram and TikTok are not affiliated with this competition in any way.
- To enter, you must create a TikTok or Instagram Reel titled “Why am I doing Camp Leaders 2025?”. Your video must be between 30 and 90 seconds long and include the caption: “Why am I doing Camp Leaders 2025?”. Explicit content, music, or language is prohibited. You may not mention competitors’ names or refer to the program as “Camp America”. You must be at the ‘accepted’ stage of your application to participate.
- Post your video on Instagram or TikTok. If posting on Instagram, tag @campleadersofficial; if posting on TikTok, tag @campleaders. Additionally, send us a direct message on the platform to confirm your entry.
- The closing date for entries is Monday, 11 February 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (GMT). Entries submitted after this date will not be accepted
- The promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not received for any reason.
- Smaller Earth Limited reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
- Smaller Earth Limited also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances beyond its control arise.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of unforeseen events, including but not limited to war, civil or military disturbance, or any breach of law or regulation. Entrants will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.
- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied by any third party.
- The prize is a refund of your full program fees. This does not include third-party costs such as visas, flights, medical forms, or other associated expenses.
- The prize is as stated and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Substitutions of equivalent value may be made at the promoter’s discretion. Third parties providing the prizes are responsible for their delivery, and the promoter accepts no liability for any changes.
- The prize does not include costs such as airport taxes, spending money, travel insurance, visa application fees, medical checks, or any other expenses. These remain the responsibility of the prize winner.
- The winner must adhere to any terms and conditions of third-party prize providers.
- The prize winner is responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documents, including passports, visas, and any necessary inoculations. Travel advisories and other regulations must be checked and followed.
- The promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from a winner’s inability to travel to their destination.
- Winners will be chosen randomly via a comment-picking generator. All valid entries will have an equal chance of winning. The winner will be verified to ensure they meet the competition requirements.
- The winner will be notified via email, direct message on Instagram, or letter within 14 days of the closing date. If the winner does not respond within seven days, a replacement winner will be chosen.
- The promoter will liaise with the winner regarding prize booking and distribution. Once booked, any changes made by third parties are outside the promoter’s responsibility.
- The prize must be redeemed by 20 June 2025. If the winner is unable to travel within this timeframe, they must notify the promoter within one month, and an alternative winner will be chosen.
- Obtaining time off work or study to participate in the competition prize is the sole responsibility of the entrant.
- The promoter’s decision regarding all competition matters is final.
- The competition and these terms and conditions are governed by English law, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
- The winner agrees to the use of their name, image, and entry for publicity purposes. Personal data will be handled per UK data protection laws.
- The winner’s name will be available upon request 28 days after the closing date by emailing info@perfectlyyouco.com
- This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or any third party. Information provided will be used solely by Smaller Earth Limited.
- Failure to enforce any term or condition does not constitute a waiver of the promoter’s rights.
- All implied conditions and warranties are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- The promoter is not liable for any costs, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the competition.
- If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
- Entrants using bots or automated systems to enter will be disqualified.
- Entrants must be at least at the ‘accepted’ stage of their Camp Leaders application.
- All participants must pass a police or equivalent background check to be eligible.
- Participants must complete all required medical checks and interviews and gain approval from their country team.
- Winners must collaborate with the Camp Leaders support team and meet all deadlines for required documentation.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be claimed on behalf of another individual.
